The seventh Chess on the Square - Rapid chess tournament, in conjunction with the First Friday ArtWalk, featured 20 players and 5 quads along with an 8-player swiss. The first quad was won by Seth Dixon who went undefeated at 3 - 0. The second quad was won by T.J. Ross in a tiebreak over John Cardoza (Ng3+!). The third quad was won by Daniel Bao with a score of 2.5/3.0. The fourth quad went to Kai Schaefer who went undefeated at 3-0 and the fifth quad was won by Matt Cozart who went undefeated at 3-0 in his first appearance.

The 8-player swiss was won by Ben Elliott, who went undefeated at 3-0.

Congratulations to Seth, TJ,Daniel, Kai, Matt, and Ben!.
